Trees trees trees at Craft a scene

Good afternoon all! Well here I am - back home and feeling refreshed - although the pink sweatfest I attended from 10 - 1 today has largely sapped much of my energy - lol!!!! Still it was good fun and I needed a good workout after all the eating I did whilst away!

Today is the start of a new challenge over at Craft a scene where this months theme is trees trees trees - one or many - its up to you! I'm sure this one should be popular - trees really are a fabulous topic for cards - you could even go festive with this one!

I made a card for my uncle Gordon who will be 70 at the end of the month.

The main stamp is the Majestic oak from Sheena and I've also used Sheenas crackle stamp and corner edge from the ageing beautifully set. The background was made using radiant rain colours applied by sponge and also some distress inks applied with cut and dry foam - once dry I used versamark on the stamp then added the wow powders and heatset. The sentiment comes with the tree set.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
simonsaysstampblog: AG
mmcsmymumscraftshop: autumn colours
Patties Creationspattiescreationschallenge: birthdays
.C.R.A.F.T:trimmiescraftchallenge for the boys
CFAS:craftingforallseasons Autumn colours

I do hope you like my card and will try to join our challenge this month - you can find the full details here:
Thanks for joining me today and I look forward to seeing you again soon xx

Hugs
