Hello lovelies! How are you? I am very well and feeling happy after a lovely weekend in Nottingham - Bez loved her cake and had a great birthday - thanks to all of you who commented on the cake!
This is Bez with my two girls and their cousin Evie. All having a good time!
We visited an old haunt of mine from my youth on Sunday morning - Nottingham Castle. It was a beautiful day and we even managed a picnic in the sunshine - a great weekend was had by all!
Now then - the craft stamper challenge this month is to do some monoprinting using an acrylic block - now my biggest block seems to be MIA so I had to settle for one that is about 4 inches by 6 inches. I added acrylic paint of different colours and squelched it about using my finger. Then I took 4 prints and used them to make this card.
After taking the prints I used some dylusions stamps and some crafty individuals stamps to create the backgrounds. The crafty individuals crowned rabbits stamps were then stamped onto the other two prints and fussy cut before being stuck to prints one and two. I also stamped the Tim stamp from one of the recently released sets onto a piece of leftover print then matted and layered.
Here's a close up! I hope you like this as much as I do - I really enjoyed the technique and I think you would too - its great! Give it a go and join in the challenge!
the colours I have used are from this colour palette
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
Craft stamper magazine
craftstamper - monoprinting from acrylic challenge
Thanks for visiting today and I hope you enjoyed your visit - I hope to see you again soon! Big Hugs rachel xx
