poinsettia or christmas angel at christmas card club

Hello lovelies! Bank Holiday Monday ..... I wonder what today will bring??? I hope its good for all of us - not sure what we're doing today - it depends on the weather!

Yesterday it was our fortnightly christmas card club make - this time the theme was poinsettia - or christmas angel - I opted for poinsettia - I love them!

I made 4 cards on the same theme - I started by sitting the oval on the card and inking in peeled paint DI around it - next I used some Card-Io stamps to complete the outside... two poinsettias in festive berries, leaves in peeled paint and forest moss.

Then I overlayed the outside of the oval stencil over the stamped outside and stamped through a chocolate baroque stamp.

I coloured this in using distress pens.

I like these cards - very useful little stamps I think!

Have a great bank holiday monday!

Big hugs

Rachel x

  8. Gorgeous cards Rachel. Poinsettias are just so quintessentially Christmas aren't they? I get one every Christmas but I'm never very successful and it doesn't last very long!! Hugs Christine xx
