I started with the stamped image - its called jane - I stamped in black archival and then fussy cut. Next I started on the canvas - I used grandmas-teacup acrylic paint on the base and over all the lovely goodies I had added - these were a mixture of metallic pieces plus items made using paperclay and moulds.
I then stamped using rugged-edge stamp and flitter glu and added indigoblu-megaflake-chocolate-box.
When I added the image and all was dry I added more interest using treasure gold in purple and renaissance gold.
I hope you like this piece and will join in with the indigo blu challenge which you can find here.

hi sue - the paper clay flowers are very simple and easy to make - you just push them into the mould and then wait 1-3 days - they're really very handy to have and come up well with paint and wax ... I think you'd love them!! Hugs rachel x

ReplyDeleteOh I DEFINITELY LIKE it! Enjoyed reading through the process almost as much as I loved the card. Lots of the products you mentioned aren't familiar to me, but I did get some of the flitter glu & metal flakes, which are still NBUS. I love the vintage look of this pretty shadow box. So much detailed loveliness, and a beautiful project. I hope this will be displayed where you can enjoy it every day. Well done! TFS & Happy wkend.
