Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the cardswap over at the Joanna sheen forum. The theme is vintage and this is my make!
I used a stamp set from craftyindividuals called beside the seaside. I started by stamping and masking the lady then stamped the beach huts, masked again and created the background. I used a clarity mask and salty ocean distress inks to create the sky and the same ink for the water then old paper to create the beach.
I then coloured the lady and the huts in using spectrum noir markers. Finally I added the extra stamping and then layered it onto kraft card that had been embossed with a pebbles texture folder from crafters companion - I swiped potting soil archival over the top of this before layering.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I hope you have a good Monday - I have to do some present wrapping (Lucy's birthday on Thursday) now before I go and fetch the girls - they're both at the gym today having fun hopefully!
Big Hugs
Rachel
