My favourite poem!

Hello Lovelies! Its been a great day! So spring like! I hope its been like that for you too! We started the day in the garden and then did a great Easter Egg hunt in the village and finished off at the park. A lovely day in the sunshine!

Today I'd like to share my next journal page with you - this is in response to the prompt for Journal Heart 15 which this week is Your Favourite Poem. I used my what I like to think of as my family poem - my dad always used to quote this one - and still does every now and then. Its Leisure by W.H. Davies.

I used aquatints to make the page background - I applied the colours, added water then applied some salt - unfortunately I didn't have any coarse salt so the effect wasn't brilliant. Then I used some  stencils - a TH lace stencil, two sheena douglass stencils and a Dina Wakley stencil - all with black soot distress ink. I also added some ryn stamps and some dylusions edge stamps.

I would like to enter my journal page into the craftstamper take-it-make-it-challenge-april..

I have got some more London pictures to share with you now. When we got to the Tower of London we discovered there are many Shaun the Sheeps in different guises all around the capital - we followed one of the trails (there are 4) and also found some other sheep. Shaun the sheep has always been very dear to us - it was almost like having Shaun back with us - it certainly felt very special. Here are our favourites of the ones we found.

Hope you have a fun Saturday night! I'm off up into the attic again tonight - I really missed being creative whilst in London and am really enjoying getting back to my crafty space!!!

Take care and have a good Easter Sunday!

Hugs

Rachel xx
