Craft a scene: Winter scene with the option of a trishutter

Good afternoon all! Well I suspect you're getting tired of my posts right now so I'll keep it short! Lol!!! At Craftascene we are launching Decembers challenge - and this month the theme is a winter scene - and there is the option of creating a trishutter card. I've done that - although I've had some comments from people who have seen the card already that it was such a gorgeous scene it was a shame to cut it up! Lol! I understand where that view is coming from but I actually quite like the effect! What do you think?

The stamps are from a set by Sheena douglass when she was at Creative Expressions - I think its called vintage Christmas. I've done most of the colouring with promarkers and also added some glitter - the snowflakes are cut using spellbinders dies. I cut the tri- shutter using my hougie board. It was relatively simple to make!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges!

Totally Gorjusstotallygorjuss: Snow

I wonder did any of you notice my getting a GDT post on the Pan pastel (premium brands) challenge blog? I'm there for the month of December - its really exciting stuff and I'm well chuffed to have been asked! I'll blog the piece I made tomorrow although it was on their site already today!

Big Hugs from me and thanks for dropping by! Hope to see you again soon!

  2. Beautiful card Rachel, I love the fact that peeps will want to pick it up to position it to see the whole picture so it's a lot more interactive, but I get what they mean too. Have a rest if you can - you are so busy! xx

  17. Wow, this is gorgeous. I haven't seen a tri-shutter designed this way, showing the entire image when flat, and I love that idea! (May have to CASE it.)
