Feeling square?

Good morning lovelies! Hope you're all fine and happy! We're all good here - another relatively quiet day planned and my girlies are off to a friends to play this afternoon so I might even get some crafting done - although I really ought to clean the house!! Ho hum!

Two things to show you today - both with squares on them. The first is a box I got from my friend Debbie - she was clearing out her attic and asked me if I wanted anything and I got this box - which I've altered using papers called authentique - freebird. Not sure who made them - never heard of them before but I liked the colours. Here's the box.

So I cut squares of paper and added them on all four sides of the box and the top. Then I cut and made flowers using the tattered floral dies and a spiral spellbinder die. I added these and some leaves cut from the tattered leaves dies and also some crafty emblies leaves that I coloured with a combination of shabby shutters and peacock feathers distress stains. I added stickles to the emblie leaves and added an emblie butterfly that I had coloured with worn lipstick distress stain, and stamped using a craft stamper freebie stamp. The lettering is TH grungeboard letters coloured with forest moss DI.

I'd like to enter my box of tricks into the following challenges:

Sunday Stamperpinkleart: Square
ABACanythingbutacard: Inspired by - Hels Sheridan of course!
PIOpileitonchallenge: Wooden
Crafty Embliescrafty-emblies: AG
SSSSsimonsaysstampandshow: Fly
Papertake weeklypapertakeweekly: Bingo - glitter, diecuts and blooms.

My other item to share with you on a square theme is a card I made for the Lime and black challenge over at Less is more.

The stamps are freebies from the Crafters Companion Spring Magazine. These are Sheena designed I think - at least the flower is!

I'd like to enter this into:

Simply Less is moresimplylessismoore: Lime and black
Simon sayssimonsaysstampschallenge: April showers/spring flowers.
Crafters Companioncrafterscompanion: Flowers

Thats all for today - thanks for dropping by and I hope to see you again soon! Big Hugs Rachel xx
