Dad's Card

Hello there - I'm scheduling this post as I'll be away with my girls for a couple of days - so I hope blogger behaves! This card is for my dear Dad. His birthday is in May - so not too far away - he's going to be 79 this year. I can hardly believe it! He's still recovering from a heart operation he had over a year ago - but we're starting to see more of his old self now - finally. There's nothing he likes better than pottering in the garden so when I was lucky enough to win this stamp from Little Claire - I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it.



I really enjoyed colouring this one up and look forward to using it again in the not too distant future! The colouring has all been with promarkers - the die I used to make the circles is a spellbinders grand die and the vegetation at the edges is that memory box die again! Been getting a lot of use has that die!
