whoopsi daisy: Fun in the sun

Morning Lovelies! How are you today? Hope you feeling good! I'm good and happy - did boot camp yesterday at Williamson Park in Lancaster before heading off to the Zoo in Blackpool with Shaun and the girls - a lovely sunny day and a great evening too. Can't be bad!

My Girls are going on a forest day today with school which sounds lovely - hope the weather is kind. And I'm off to see my ladies at the coffee pot - after a run first with Emma! We're doing white on white cards today - I'll blog what happened tomorrow! Then it'll be a case of collecting my mended tyre - I got a puncture on Friday - then doing some cleaning and preparation for rainbows before picking the girls up and taking them off to ballet after school! Phew! I'll be glad when its evening and I can get up into my attic for some crafting!

Today there's a new challenge going on at whoopsi daisy - its called fun in the sun and here's my card for the challenge

its a fresh and funky image I think - its from sheet 445 which you can get here. I've coloured her with promarkers and added ribbon, twine, charm and a wooden embellishment. The paper is the same one I used on the Mo Manning card last week - not sure now what it was!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Happy Fathers Day Dad!

Hello Lovelies - and if there are any dads out there reading this - Happy Fathers Day!!! Hope my dad is enjoying his day so far - this is the card I sent to him: I had to have this image - my dad had always been a keen gardener and this just so suits him!

The sentiment is also LOTV and the watering can is a charm I got from over at The Ribbon Girl. Its a bit of a CAS card really - my dad's not a fussy fella so I'm hoping it will suit him. The card blank is centura pearl darks from Crafters Companion. The image was coloured with promarkers.

Thanks Mum and dad

Hello lovelies - I do hope you're well and happy! I'm good but feeling quite tired - I think the moonlight walk is catching up with me!

I've got a card to show you that I made to give to my mum and dad to say thankyou for my birthday goodies - they loved it and now I can share it on here.

The card was created by using a light purple pan pastel all over the background having masked off the moon first- then I added the mask from Imagination Crafts and went trough in DI milled lavendar first, then brushed corduroy and then with shabby shutters on the green bits. Between the mauves I shifted the mask slightly to give the illusion of 3D. Afterwards I stamped the fairies from Lavinia stamps in black archival and then the verse from Clarity stamp in the moon. Then it was just a case of matting and layering and bobs your uncle.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Lavinia June challengelaviniastamps: Lovely Lavendar
Sunday Stamper pinkleart-Purple Haze
Cute card Thursday:cutecardthursday Once upon a time

Hope you have a fabulous Friday and thanks for dropping by. I do love to read your comments and try to get around to as many of you as I can manage. Big Hugs and happy Friday!

Dt Post for Creative Inspirations

Good morning Lovelies - I trust you are well? Did you have a funny day weatherwise yesterday? It went a bit cold and rainy here in Lancaster - but then at school pick up time the sun was out and we were all a little hot!!!  Crazy unpredictable weather!

At Creative Inspirations cinspirations this week's challenge is HAPPY FATHERS DAY!
Create something to celebrate the fact it is Father's Day in the UK soon, whether it is a card for this occasion or just a male themed creation!

This week's prize is from CRIMSON CLOUD which is
3 DIE CUT PACKS OF THE WINNERS CHOICE!

Here's what I did:

I created the card after looking at all the talented peoples work in the latest Sheena Douglass Inkoid DT call on facebook here. One lady Jassy (here) had done the majestic oak like this and I just had to have a go myself - I think it looks wonderful and it was so easy to do. All I did was tape a piece of black and a piece of white card together using low tack tape then stamp on the other side with versamark, then I pulled the papers apart and added black embossing powder to the white piece and white to the black - and heat set. I think its fabulous and want to thank Jassy so very much for the inspiration xxx
The dies that are used are grand dies from spellbinders.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Paperake weeklypapertakeweekly: Hello Boys
LEJlejdesignschallengeblog: Boys/men
Bearly Minebearlymine-challenges: AG
Tuesday Throwdown:tuesdaythrowdown Male.
shaped cards:kraftyhandschallenge Krafty hands

Thats all for now - I had an extra post last night - just for my girls - they wanted to enter the challenge over at Mos digital for Children so if you get chance do pop along and give them some feedback!

Thanks for visiting and do check out the inkoid callout - there's amazing work there!

Big Hugs

Mo's Children challenge: A post from me and my girls

Hello there! Now did you know that over at Mo's digital they're having a challenge for the kiddies this week? Well grown ups can enter too - with the use of a child image. Children can enter using any Mo image that they have coloured themselves. We have been doing some colouring as a family and this is what me and my chipmunks came up with: This first one is mine - I just adore this image - it reminds me of my little Penny - but I believe its called April.

This next one is by Penny - she's 5 years old and I think very good at colouring for her age - her colour choice isn't bad either. I cut the image out for her although her cutting is pretty good too - she chose the papers and card and I helped her stick it down straight! Her image is called baby fairy butterfly.

This is Lucy's card - she suprised me with her choice of image - I think she's called Jacqui - anyway - Lucy is 6 - she'll be 7 in August and is also pretty good at colour choices I think and colurng for her age.

We would like to enter our Fisher family cards into the challenge at Mos - I suspect I'll only be able to put one picture up but I'll try and do them individually!

Thanks for looking and enjoy the rest of your day!
