More felting - a bluetit

Hello there! I went to a course on Saturday to make a needle felted bluetit - it was with Diana Brock from Quirky Woodlands - she is so good...a lovely lady and an amazing teacher... here's my little birdie!

I am very pleased with him ... he is a tad thin but thats okay - his markings are as close to reality as I could make .... he's also sitting on a little ceramic pot that has 'moss' coming out of it! I am looking forward to having a go by myself at another type of bird...I might go for a goldfinch as they really are very distinctive!

Big hugs!

  18. Hi Rachel, Anne had a link on her felted teddy post, so I zipped over to see this. What a splendid creation you've made, and as for his being thin, well, maybe it was a hard winter! This is just the cutest decoration with the darling bird perched on the little mossy pot.I love the brilliant colors on this bird. Sounds like it was just a great class with a fab teacher. Lucky you to be able to attend and enjoy - TFS
