Anything but cute at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! How are you? I do hope you are well! Its the 1st February already and time for a new challenge at Countryview Crafts. The Challenge is 'Anything but cute'. I suspect most people would say my card isn't cute ....but I'm not so sure - I just adore lizards!!!

I used two stamps from a set just released by France Papillon. Yes there are two different lizards here and thats why I was drawn to this set! I made the background using distress oxides....I used cracked-pistachiolucky-clover and peeled-paint to create the background then stamped in wendy-vecchi-archival-ink-fern-green before overpainting in some distress ink colours. The words were added using a stencil from aallandcreate.

Here's a closer look at one of the lizards - definitely not cute is he???? Ha ha!

I hope you can join our challenge this month - you may win a £20 voucher to spend at Susans fabulous shop! Look for more inspiration and link up here.

Big hugs

Rachel xx

  7. You give a good impression of a lizard in the jungle! I don't think the style is cute, it's more of a realistic image so perfect for my challenge!
