Collage at stamps and stencils

Hello there! This is my second post already today! Its time for a new challenge at stamps and stencils and this month Cec has chosen the theme of collage....here's what she had to say ....

 Theme: Off to Collage - No I am not sending you to school but thought it might be fun this month to make a collage.  You can use any substrate such as canvas, corrugated cardboard, wood, or canvas boards for instance and add any items to it as long as you include some stamping and/or stenciling.



Here's what I did with this theme.... I decided to make a wedding card for my friend who gets married later in the year.

I used stencilling as part of my creation - here's how I made it....

I started with a piece of heavy media card and added paste through a stencil (Sheena douglass) to create some background texture.

Next I added a tando clock and lace and buttons and then gessoed over everything to make it white. 

Finally I added some haematite inka gold using my finger to the raised parts of the collage then added the word joy and the paperdoll image. I mounted this on a mat and then onto a card.
