Blue and Green at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! How are you? Pinch punch its the first of the month!!! Wow - this year is rushing on by! There's a new challenge starting at Countryview challenges - and the theme this month is 'Blues and greens'.... I couldn't help doing an underwater canvas!!! My teamies will have lots of inspiration too which you can see here.

Here's the finished item ..... and here's how I made it!

I started by using paperartsy-stencil 1 and paperartsy-stencil 2. I also used grungepaste through the stencil.

Next I used my finger to add indigoblu paints to the dry surface ... I then left that to dry.

I used new tim-holtz---distress-oxide-ink-pads in salty ocean, peacock feathers, twisted citron and lucky clover to create a background on which I stamped the -tim-holtz-cling-mounted-stamp-set---sea-life

Next I added green treasure gold to the plants and then added fussy cut sealife.

I added some stencilled words and finally highlights using my posca pen.

A close up of the bottom left ....

and the top right!

I do hope you can join us - be in with a chance of winning a £20 voucher to spend in store! Join us here
