Hello Lovelies! How are you? I hope you are doing well. We have had some glorious days - filled with beautiful sunshine and I have been getting out nd about making the most of it. It would have been my dads birthday yesterday so I took my mum to the garden centre and we bought some plants and headed back to her house. I put the tomato plants into the greenhouse - I am taking mine down and using my dads old one this year. He was a great fan of tomatoes - so it seemed the right thing to do on his birthday. We had a good day!
Tonight I have a journal page to share with you for the latest challenge over at Junk Journal Junkies on Facebook. This week the prompt is yellow, pink and orange and the theme is sun.
I love this quote - its a newish stamp from Indigoblu - infact all the stamps are from indigo blu. To make the background I used distress paints and ink plus a clarity stencil for the sun.
Big hugs to you!

Great page!
ReplyDeleteMy Mum and Dad loved tomatoes. They always grew scads of them and had their favorite seed brands and types!
Old heirlooms were a fave. They could always make a great lettuce and tomato sandwich if you stopped by for coffee!
One year we dehydrated bushels of them...they were wonderful on pasta all winter...
aw what beautiful memories! Thanks so much for sharing x
DeleteFabulous card Rachel
ReplyDeleteWOW fabulous bright sunny journal page Rachel, great silhouette stamps and brilliant sentiment--My hubby has a little greenhouse and grows tomatoes every year-we always end up giving loads away as we end up with that many and at the moment we are getting overrun with eggs from the chickens
