A set back and autumn at Clarity

Hello Lovelies. Not good news on the Shaun front - he has pulmonary edema again which explains his breathing issues over the past few days. He's currently sedated and on the filter to try to remove as much fluid as possible. It feels very raw to me at the moment - his place on the transplant list has been suspended until his lungs are working better again. I know this is sensible - I'm just trying to keep positive!  Hopefully better news soon.

I have my entry for the Clarity challenge this month which is Seasons. I have decided to do the season of autumn and have used 2 clarity stamps and a clarity stencil.

I made the background using distress inks and then used more through the stencil. The verse is stamped on card coloured with distress using sepia archival and mounted on brown card. I then stamped the partridge and painted it using distress, fussy cut it then added it to the card.

I'd like to enter this into the claritystampchallenge - the seasons.

Thanks for dropping by.

Big hugs

Rachel x

  2. Rachel, I know I am not able to stop by and visit as often as I did at one time but that does not mean that you and your family have not been in my thoughts, because you certainly have and it is awful to read this latest news. You are doing remarkably well to continue to have a positive outlook, you know how valuable it is to keep hope in your heart but this can be so draining for you. Thank goodness you are carving out some creative time, so important.
This card is exquisite, a gorgeous richness to it.
    Take good care.
    Wishes
