A victorian Christmas

Morning all! Can I just say thanks to everyone for the comments you've left in the past few days - it really does mean a lot to me - it was funny being away last week because I really missed seeing all of your work and getting your lovely feedback!

Anyway, onto today - I usually try and reserve Sunday night to make a Christmas card - and last night was no exception - I did, however, use a tool I've had for three years or more and never used because I didn't know what it was. Luckily when I went to the workshop over with Hels I met Anne and she showed me an alternative way to fray paper edges and told me what the distressing tool looked like! Thanks Anne (Redanne) - now I know I've got one I'll try and use it more often!

Anyway - onto the card:

I think the edges show up okay - but looking at the photo I'm not too sure about the holly! Oh well!!!! I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

A Right Royal Purple:craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge
Something Vintage:panpasteluk
Remember when?joannasheenchallenge
Double Delight:paperplaychallenges

Hope you all have a wonderful Monday - The girls loved Top Cat Yesterday - but I thought it was dreadful!!!! We're off to Fleetwood today - yipeee!!!!

Happy Monday!

Rachel xx

  5. Hi Rachel, had a bit of a chuckle over the distresser thing, I never use mine, too fiddly! The photo that you have used in your Christmas card is beautiful and I think the holly really sets it off and gives lots of dimension, which I love. Nice to have you back from your hols. Anne x
