Traditional Christmas colours at Creative Inspirations

Good morning all! I hope you are well and feeling rested! I'm looking forward to a nice day today - not too much rushing around to do and I might evenn get some crafting done - Lol!!!! Yesterday was lovely - I was fortunate enough to see both my girls in their school play twice. I took my mum in the morning and went with Shaun in the evening. Here's a quick pic of Penny that my friend put on facebook - not downloaded my camera pics yet!!! She played the innkeeper along with the little boy Finley - and they were singing 'put the full signs out, pull the vacant signs in - to the tune of the hokey cokey!!! Brilliant!

Over at Creative Inspirations this week's challenge is Traditional Christmas Colours Only! Yes this means that we now ONLY want to see Red, Green & Gold! Oops - my card may have a few extras - but its dominantly red and green!

This week's prize is from STAMP FAIRY and is a $10 GIFT CERTIFICATE!

"Stamp Fairy officially launched on November 5th 2010. Gerda Burghardt, artist and owner, creates cute and whimsical digital images for the young and old, inspired by her life, love and 4 cute cats. You will find adorable teddies bears, young boys and girls, fuzzy little bunnies and whimsical critters. Please visit the store and browse Stamp Fairy’s wonderful images. We hope Stamp Fairy’s images inspire YOUR creativity."

Stamp Fairy are also currently having a SALE so do pop on over and grab yourself a treat!

Here's my card using one of the Mimi images from the Stamp Fairy.

I've coloured her with promarkers and added glitter - then cut with a spellbinders die and distressed the edges whilst still in the die. The background card came from a pack from Crafters Companion and the flowers are partly from WOC and some older flat ones that came from an old ribbon and blooms kit club I used to belong to. The ribbon is a very old piece of stash and I think it came from QVC and is a DCWV sticky ribbon.

I'd like to enter the following challenges:

LEJ:lejdesignschallengeblog Festive fun
Oldie but a goodieoldiebutagoodiechallenge: Winter - the ribbon is my oldie
PFPpromarkerchallenge: Include a sentiment
Lexi'slexiscreations: Snow
Incy Wincyincywincydesigns: Let it snow
CYPCcraftyourpassionchallenges: Let it snow

Hope you all have a great Wednesday and thanks for dropping by today! Hope to see you again soon!

Big Hugs

WOW at Creative Inspirations and a little claire club card make

Good morning Lovelies! How are you today? I hope you are well and happy. I'm feeling a little more organised after buying the mulled wine and mince pies for the school christmas fair and sorting out some gift bags for the secret mums gift stall. I even managed to buy a Christmas cake for the luxury hamper we'll be raffling - and put posters up and secured some more help on the day! All good news!!

There's a new challenge today over at Creative Inspirations cinspirations and we're sponsored by the stamp fairy - that means I got to use one of the fab images of Barry - don't you just love him? Here's my card:

I used an embossalicious grande dots folder for the background along with a memory box border top and bottom and some trees cut from die'sire dies to the left - the sentiment is from LOTV. The image itself has been coloured with promarkers and I added a faux frame using the die as a mask.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
PTWpapertakeweekly: snow and ice
2 sisters:2sisterschallengeblog Christmas sparkle
CHNC:craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge Outdoors
CHNC extra: craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge2AG
sweet stampin:sweetstampinchallengeblog Christmas is coming
allsortsallsortschallenge: White Christmas
sparkles Christmassparklesforumchristmaschallenge: Have a beary Christmas
ready-teddy-gochallenge- challenge-28-use-embossing

I have another card to show you too made from the stamps and cards that I get monthly from the Little Claire stamp club. I kept a few of the card packs and took them with me when I was away over half term as something to do in the evening - this is one of the ones I did:

Hope you have a great wednesday - I'm running this morning then preparing for rainbows this afternoon - we're going to be having fun with shaving foam and inks and also doing some die cutting - should be fun!!! Thanks for dropping by today and for any comments you may leave! I really do appreciate each and every one and look forward to reading what you think!

Big Hugs
