Coffeepot and a birthday cake

Hello there! How are you? I hope you are well and happy! This weather is certainly beautiful isn't it? I am loving the sunshine! The garden is a bit dry but I think its worth it!!! You'll be glad to hear we survived rehearsal yesterday and have one final one on Wednesday night before the shows on Friday and Saturday night! Fingers crossed we iron out some of the wrinkles before then!

Its been Coffee Pot today - we managed to make some pretty cards using stamps from hobbyart. Here's mine...

I love these sunflowers which are stamp of the month at present. The dragonflies are also from Hobbyart but a different set.

To make my card I created a background using pixie powders, then created another more orangey background and stamped on the flower heads. I created a third background that I stamped the dragonflies onto. After some fussy cutting I stamped the stems directly onto the first background, added the bow stamp and then stuck on the flower heads and dragonflies. I also stamped the dragonfly verse.

I did this over the weekend too - it was my mums birthday on Sunday ...the flowers were done using sugarpaste and a mould and the rest was painted directly on!

Hope you're having a good day!

Coffeepot

Hello there! How are you? I am doing ok. First day without the children yesterday but I had the lovely coffeepot ladies to craft with so time just flew. We were making cards based on these two cards i have already posted here and here.

This is the one I did as a demo of the technique....

I used all hobbyart stamps except for the sentiment which is by alison bomber from paperartsy....

I did this one as a second make - I do so love this stamp set - really pretty!

I hope you have a good day - I am hoping to get organised and do some chores and also hoping to pop into pottyroos and do some painting!

Big hugs

Tripps card

Good morning to you! Well today I have a card for you made using another hobbyart hare ... this card is for my nephew who is 2 at the end of the month.

Its such a cute stamp - I stamped him then masked. Next I added a sun mask and then created the landscape. I stamped the vegetation and the trees then removed the masksand coloured the sun and the hare!

Here's a closer look! Expect to see this little face again soon!!! Lol!

Have a great day!

First play with sheenas victorian florals and coffee pot make

Hello lovelies ....how are you today? I hope you are well and good - if not sending you gentle hugs xx. Its an okay day here weatherwise - a bit more wind and rain than I was expecting but better than Monday and Tuesday, I got a nice 5 and 1/2 mile run in this morning then after a bit of shopping and cleaning I  worked in the garden. We have a party at Rainbows this evening and then ts time for drama rehersal. The girls are in a greek play based on the wooden horse of troy. Its very funny and I'm hoping it goes down well! Then tonight I'm hoping to get into my attic to make my christmas card club makes for Sunday! We'll see how that all goes!

Today I would like to share with you my first make using sheenas victorian florals. For this one I used the anemone set of dies and stamps.

The sentiment stamp is an old one - also from sheena. I created the background using aquatints from spectrum noir.

I cut and embossed the flowers using coordinations card stock then overstamped in hydrangea archival ink using the stamps.

I think they work brilliantly and look forward to using them again soon.

Here's the card we made at coffeepot this week - it was an exercise in masking - the stamps are from hobby art. Not sure about the sentiment stamp though. All colouring was done by painting with distress inks.

So there we have it! I hope you enjoy the rest of your day and I look forward to reading any comments you choose to leave! Big hugs!
