a catch up in this time of coronavirus

Hello there...well what strange and worrying times we are living through. I do hope you are all okay out there in blogland. Things here are okay. Its been homeschool week 3 this week... just for Penny..oh and me. Lucy's home schooling starts again on Monday. My furlough started on 6th April and is initially for 2 months. I am wondering if there will be a job for me at the end of it but I do appreciate having the time to spend with my girls, cooking, crafting and encourging them to do their school work. To be fair they are pretty good...although Penny has enjoyed having my full attention and help this week for sure.

I have been able to join in with a few things on facebook this week too...and the week before....
Kay from Indigoblu does a mxed media Monday at 4pm...I was able to make it one week and enjoyed doing a spot of journalling....

No photo description available.

I followed Kay's ideas and was pleased with the outcome!

I have been dropping in to Lesley's Whartons' social butterflies now and again too and the current challenge (for a few more days only) was trees....so this is what I made....

And of course....I have been following and working along with Jo Rice and some of her lessons on FB....

Its a busy time for me indeed.... but I am making the best of things...if you find you are feeling a bit low why not try some of these fb tutorials...its really uplifting! Huge thankyou to everybody out there who is doing these things so we can all attempt to stay sane when the world seems to be going mad!

Big hugs

Rachel xx

  1. It must be hard juggling everything and homeschooling too-the hardest part for us is not seeing grandaughters for over three weeks we have gone from everyday to nothing and missing them like crazy.Still there are worse of than us if that's all we have to complain about.Love your journal pages and card especially the last three
