sew and sew!

Morning lovelies! I hope you had a good day yesterday - mine was busy - what's new? - but at least the rain let up for most of the day! Yipee! We even saw a glimmer of sunshine here and there! Not sure what we've got on today but I need to get ready for rainbows tonight - were doing about diwali - and I've got to bake some cakes for us to decorate. Then tonight it will be off to the first read through of Mary Poppins. Lucy landed the role of Jane so she's thrilled to bits!

Today I'd like to share with you a present i have made for penny for Christmas - she asked for a sewing box - and this is what I have done for her.

Its a set of drawers from Ali Reeve's Clevercut and i have decorated them with gesso then graphic 45 papers. The theme matches her sea themed bedroom.

At the top I have added a few sewing bits and bobs - so she knows to use it for sewing.

A sneaky peek inside two draws shows that she's got allsorts of tools in there as well as thread.

I have to make one for Lucy now too! The box I had in mind may not hold some of the tools so I may have to order another one of these!!!

Thanks for looking today and for your kind comments yesterday!!

Big hugs

Rachel x
