Its been shocking - I hope it gets better soon! The school playground was even under water! Imagine that!!!
So today I want to share with you my attempt at Tims tag this month - I've had two go's. The first one I made I didn't like the scale of things so I did another - here's Tims tag:
I really loved the techniques Tim used on his tag which you can find here. I had to improvise a bit but basically followed the techniques on both my tags.
Here's the second one I made:
I liked the result of this one - you can't see the background so well on this one - I used a script stamp instead of the hessian one that Tim used.
I do like the snowman blueprint that I decoupaged up.
He's a cutie pie!
Here#s the original tag I made - I love the background but because I used a size 10 tag the scale is all wrong - well it is to me!
I would like to enter my tags into timholtz12-tags-of-2015-november.
Hope you have a good day. We're off on Brownie holiday later today - looking forward to that!!
Big hugs rachel xx
I Do prefer the snowman one but then I love that stamp and die, must use it again, great tag
ReplyDeleteGoodness me Rachel, that's come water, so awful for homes and businesses. Loving your tags, will make those Christmas gifts very special.

Its been raining continously in my part of the world too but we have escaped flooding in Bangalore though in a nearby state of Tamil Nadu the picture is like yours with water even managing to cover buses!
ReplyDeleteOh and I love your snowman project...it looks so stylish.
ReplyDeleteLove your tags Rachel, especially the snowman
ReplyDeleteLove the snowman project and the other tag is lovely but see what you mean.

I love your snowman tag Rachel and can see why you made a second. We've had plenty of rain but not as bad as it is with you up north. Hope it stays dry for your brownie holiday and you all have fun.
ReplyDeleteHugs Sue xx
I hope the rain holds off for the weekend Rachel, looks like you've had your fair share.
ReplyDeleteLove the tags, I do like the snowman one more but then red is my favourite colour :)

Oh Rachel, it seems you have had the brunt of the weather, fortunely we haven't had so much, the weather forecast says we are expecting snow over the weekend. Your tags are gorgeous, love them all. Big Hugs Marlene
ReplyDeleteHere, in Luxembourg there is a one week non-stop rain too but we are not under water like you! That's amazing! Have you got a boat? Just in case :-) Yes, Rachel, your second card is much better! Well done!
ReplyDeleteTwo gorgeous tags Rachel.xxx
ReplyDeleteThey are both lovely tags Rachel, but you know me and snowmen, so that tag comes out on top.
ReplyDeleteHope the water goes soon, take care, Kate x
Been very wet here too Rachel...but not as wet as you! Love both tags, you did a great job with the background. Enjoy Brownie holiday. Carol x
ReplyDeleteI like both tags Rachel but the snowman one is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI hope the floods have subsided.

Yikes to the flooding, hope it doesn't last, I think I would rather have snow like they have in Aberdeen this evening! Both tags are lovely but I do love the snowman! Hope you have a lovely weekend. Hugs, Anne xx
