silver, black and white and another lovely day!

Hello Lovelies - How are you? have you enjoyed your Saturday? We've had a lovely day - spent the morning making a lemon meringue pie. It was for the Hornby Village Trust Annual Ploughmans lunch - that we went to at midday. We all enjoyed our lunch and the pie was yummy! After that we spent an hour in the park and then went to the theatre to see the Railway Children. It was a lovely production - done really well! Then we came home and the girls paddled in the river. A perfect day!

Tonight I have a quick christmas card to share with you that I made using rockin-robin stamp from Indigo Blu. I used flitterglu and stamped the image then added first silver and the white embossing powder then heat set.

Here's a close up

Such a pretty stamp! I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Don't forget there's still time to join in the indigoblublogchallenge-29- where the theme is Flutterby! Its a wonderful prize - but please remember to use an indigo blu stamp in your project!

Hugs - have a great evening!

Rachel xx

  7. Oh the beauty of this and so very elegant. It will look even more amazing displayed on a mantle with the flicker of candlelight or near Christmas tree lights, catching the shimmer of the silver.
Lovely to read that you and the girls had such a wonderful day. It has rained all day here and the central heating switched on!

  11. You've created a marvelous card using this beautiful image. I knew that the Flitter glu worked with the flakes, (which I've not had the courage to try yet), but didn't know it worked so nicely with the EP. Great card. So happy that you all had a lovely family day. TFS & Hugs.
