A thankyou and Luke's card

Hello lovelies - how are you today? We're all happy because Shaun returns tonight after his trip to USA. We do miss him when he goes away but he is lucky to have the opportunity so we mustn't grumble.

I've got two cards to show you today - the first is a quick thankyou card that I made to give to somebody who sent Penny a late birthday present - we had run out of all of her homemade ones so I used the excuse to try one of the new embossalicious folders from crafters companion:

I did the background using distress inks - dusty concorde, seedless preserves and peacock feathers then embossed and swiped with a dry ish black stazon. Then I stamped the sheena sentiment onto crd swiped with peacock feathers DI and cut.

My next card is for my nephew Luke - he's football crazy and was 11 yesterday.

Its a stepper decorated with stuff I had in my stash - really not my sort of card but Luke was very happy - and thats all that counts!

Hope you have a great Saturday! Thanks for dropping by!

Big Hugs

Rachel x
