Hello everyone - I'm posting this Friday night as I won't have time to do my links in the morning - so excited - I'm off to the Happy Stampers show at Port Sunlight today - with my mum - and am hoping to meet up with the lovely Anne(Redanne) whilst I'm there. So looking forward to this show - I'll tell you all about it on Sundays post!
So I've got two things to show you today - firstly my very first ATC which features a stamp from the Craft stamper magazine plus papers from crafty individuals and a dylusions around the edge stamp.
it is partly inspired by Hels Sheridan as its for her Sunday stamper
(pinkleart) Challenge - but secondly by a blog buddy She
craftyshe who loves Rogue Redhead and also this particular dylusions stamp - so She - this is one for you!

My second piece today is one I've made for the Kraftyhands challenge this month - it uses Sheena Douglass stamps and pan pastels.
I used two separate colours of panpastels and blended them to create the background - it looks mostly samey apart from the lines in the bottom right which gives you an idea that there's more thanone colour in there. Then I stamped the fluorishes in the corners and coloured with promarkers. After that I stamped the flowers on some rainbow paper and cut them out then added to the picture and added buttons for their centres. The sentiment was stamped and cut with a spellbinders die and the butterflies were both die cut with spellbinders dies.

ReplyDeleteOoh sweetie these are stunning really fancy trying those pastels saw them at a show and wow they looked brilliant. Nearly got tickets for the show but thought best not only spend too much must go next time. Have a good time save some bits for the other shoppers

ReplyDeleteHi Rachel, I love how you used that Craft Stamper stamp, it looks fabulous on your ATC. Love your card too, especially those beautiful flowers with the rainbow paper. It was lovely to meet up with you and your Mum, albeit briefly - I meant to give you an ATC, will post it on to you.
