First GDT Post for Crafty Sentiments: Sparkle and shine

Good morning all - I hope you are well and happy and enjoyed getting back to normality yesterday - if indeed you did!!!! My day went well thankfully - and there'll be more normality I hope today!

Today is my first post as GDT for Jan and Feb over at craftysentiments challenge blog. There's a new challenge starting over there today called 'Sparkle and Shine' - this is the card I made using Annabel the Mermaid that you can get here:

Isn't she just gorgeous? What a fabulous image - she's coloured with promarkers and I've added glitter here and there. The background is done using Sparkle medium (from Imagination crafts) pasted through a stencil. The bottom of the card was spritzed using dylusions and then the shells added to keep the easel card up. The fluorishes are from a sizzix sizzlet die. the thankyou sentiment is a grunge LOTV sentiment from the everyday selection.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

incywincydesigns Something new - I've used a new stamp plus the card was thanking my parents for my new Christmas crafty goodies.
artisticinspirationscrafts: Add sparkle
Lexi'slexiscreations: Anything goes
OSAATonestitchatatimechallenge: New stash - new stamp
Totally papercraftstotallypapercrafts: Something new: new stamp
Delicious doodlesdeliciousdoodleschallenge: Sparkle and shine
Do craftsdocraftsblog: Shaped card

I hope you can pop along to the Crafty Sentiments website where the challenge details will be given in full. Thanks for popping along here today and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

  18. Wow this is just GORGEOUS I saw it on the challenge site, its so pretty and it prompted me to buy some shells too. I lived by the beach all my life with Mum and Dad and had thousands of shells that I had gathered, but they were all binned when Mum and Dad moved, so I went to hobby craft to purchase some for my cards .
