DT Post for Craft - a - scene: week 2: forest animals
Afternoon all - just a quick post this afternoon - got one to show you from craft-a scene - the June challenge is for scenes showing realistic forest animals - mine is a bird - again - this time I've used a pheasant stamp from claritystamps.
I'm really pleased with this scene - the sky was done very quickly with pan pastel and the botton using a brayer and I think it was shabby shutters DI. Then I've overstamped clumps of grass - sheena douglass stamps - and the trees - I borrowed them from my mum and I can't recall the name - will alter my post once I get chance to find the name. The pheasant is from clarity and I did cheat and add him afterwards. He's coloured with promarkers.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
LCTLTladybugscraftsinkchallengeblog: Colour wheel opposites - green and orange (close to opposite!)
Cupcakecupcakecraftchallenges: Summer scene
Ladybug Craftsladybugcrafts: Masculine
ssssimonsaysstampschallenge: Masculine
Thats all for today - deep intake of breath as I have 3 posts tomorrow - not ideal but thats the way the cookie crumbles sometimes. Thanks for dropping by and for any comments you choose to leave!
Big Hugs

Dream time
Good morning lovelies - another bright and fine day in the Fisher household and today is my husband Shaun's birthday - he's fabulous and I just adore him!!!!
Well then I've gor a tag and an ATC to show you today - they're a bit of a matching pair but the ATC has already winged its way to Kezzy - hope you like it! Here they are:
The tag was made in response to the Sunday stamper where the theme this week is Dream - With the tag and the ATC the same method was used. I used rub resists from Tim Holtz to get the main pictures over the background then added spun sugar and antique linen DI and spritzed and flicked with water. Then I used a mask from Imagination Crafts and Shabby Shutters DI. Then I went around the edges with the peeled paint then spritzed some mica spray onto the craft emblies pieces and cut the words from some cuttlebug alphabet dies. For the tag I then stamped sam poole's 6 petal flower 3 times on paper from Do crafts and cut them out to make the flower. Finally I tied the crushed ribbon bow on the tag and added some spellbinder die leaves.
I'd like to enter this tag into the following challenges:
Sunday Stamper:pinkleart Dreams
Pan Pastelpanpasteluk: Tag it
SSSSsimonsaysstampandshow: scrolls, script, Shabby Shutters DI.
Hope you have a great Saturday - We're off to a local Gala today and I'm doing the Moonlight walk tonight for St. Johns Hospice - we start at 10pm and walk 25km! Hope its a nice night!
Thanks for visiting and hope to see you again soon!
Hugs

Commission card and a giveaway
Hello there! How are you doing? I'm writing this on Thursday night to schedule it for the morning - its my birthday tomorrow and I'm very excited - there seems to have been lots of cards coming through the door so I will probably be opening them when this post goes live.
Firstly I want to show you a card I made for a friend for a commission - this is the second one I got asked to do on Saturday at the charity event. I rather like it - what do you think?
The image is from saturated canary - I think she may be called Blanche - but I could be wrong! My brief wwas for glamour - and I think this lady is very glamorous! She's been coloured with promarkers and added to a diecut of my favourite spellbinder oval. This has been added to red paper and then to the card blank which is a large one of the cupcake crafting cards. I've added flowers, pins and a pearl fluorish and also the recipients name! Oh and the sequins too!
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Saturated Canary:saturatedcanarychallenge Show us your lovely
craftsandmechallenges: Something old - the sequins must be about 10 years old - I just never seem to use them!
audsentimentschallengeblog: Anything goes
Whimsywhimsyinspires: Shaped cards
AI:artisticinspirationschallenges Shaped cards
fussyandfancychallenge: Bling it on
Now then onto the small giveaway - I have three stamps pictured here:
If you chose to write a comment on this post just let know which stamp you would like - I will keep this open until Monday morning at 10am BST then I will draw a winner for each stamp and let the winners know on my Tuesday post. Okay dokey? Does that sound okay!
Big Hugs and thanks for your friendship! I really appreciate your feedback and this is just a small way to say thankyou!
