DT Post for LEJ Designs: Autumnal

Hi there! Back again for the second post of the the day - if you're looking for my post including the new releases from the crafty pad scroll down!

Over at lejdesignschallengeblog there is a new challenge. Thanks so much to everyone who entered last time - check out the link above to see if you were lucky!
This week the theme is autumal. I just had to use Mozpoz for this one - you can buy him and other images for LEJ designs here. Before I share my card with you I must tell you about the prizes -

Here's what I did:

The image is Mozpoz from LEJ Designs and I've coloured him in using promarkers. The backing card is from hunkydory. I've used distress stains (spiced marmalade, aged mahogony and walnut I think) on the wooden leaves.

New releases at The crafty Pad

Good morning all! Well its the first Tuesday of the month so its time for new releases over at The Crafty Pad. Debbie has come up with some wonderful washing day images and the team have set to work with them and come up with some stunning results. Megan's card

Good morning all! I'm hoping its going to be as good a day as yesterday - and so I'll be able to finish tackling the holiday washing monster - doing well so far! Got to be the worst thing about coming home though eh?

Well I hope this post finds you well and happy - I'll be back later tonight to draw my candy - so if you're not in it - please do try your luck! You never know!

Today I've got a card to share with you that I've made for my friend Megan's birthday - she's recently had baby number 3 - so I just thought the multi-tasking momma image from Saturated Canary was so perfect - here's what I've done with her:

The papers I've used are from the Happy Days Range at Docrafts - I thought they were perfect for the image which is coloured with promarkers.

Back to school cards

Good afternoon to you all! Its a bit later than I intended to post this but I've just been doing battle with the holiday washing pile and also had to go and do the weekly shop! I can't begin to think about he garden but that will be the next big thing on the list!

Are you all well? I hope so! I feel very refreshed after a sleep in my own bed - its so nice to go on holiday but isn't it always lovely to get back to your own bed?

Well today I've got two cards to share with you - both on the same theme - back to school! My little monkies will both be going to school this week - Lucy starts back on Tuesday and Penny will be starting school on Friday! They are both very excited - and since they're going to the very small school in the village will both actually be in the same class for a whole year! Anyway - here are the cards - both using Mo images - but again pretty basic as they were made on holiday!

The top one is for Penny because the image just reminds me of her! The bottom one is for Lucy - and both have their school uniform colours!

A special challenge at The Crafty Pad

Evening all! Well I just got back from Holidays in Cornwall - I've had a wonderful time with my lovely family - I'll put some pictures up over the next few posts! Just wanted to say hello to my followers old and new - and let you know that normal service will be resumed very soon! As you may know one of out DT leaders Dawn, is having her head shaved in support of her mum who is currently undergoing chemotherapy following cancer surgery. Debbie - our wondrous leader at the Crafty Pad has come up with some freebie images that you can get from the page link above. You can also read more about Dawn's charityfundraiser and hopefully you'll agree that she really is a brave lady!

Here's a card I made for the challenge - it was a very quick effort but I think it shows off the freebie images - I didn't use the sentiment tickets however and they are fab.
