yay: its a teddybo day!

Good morning all of my crafty friends and some new followers - thanks so much for joining me - and thanks to everyone for your kind comments and for yesterdays birthday wishes - it means a lot to me so thankyou!
I did have a lovely birthday but didn't manage to get to play with my new stash - that will just have to wait until sat evening - its my husbands birthday today and tonight we're off out for our annual meal!!!!! whoopee doo! Can't wait!!!

I've got a card to share with you today that I made using the teddy freebies from simply card making and papercraft:

I think these were an amzing free gift - and there is paper with it too so if you haven't got it yet I'd go for it if I were you!!! Anyway, the eagle eyed amongst you will see that I've pinched the whirly swirly circle idea from Karen at pINK it up - thanks Karen - it really is a fab one!!!!

Birthday Bubble and Squeak!

Good morning all! Well its all bubble and squeak here at the Fisher's today - becuase its my birthday!!! Yay!!! I just wanted to say thankyou to all of you that have sent me good wishes - its lovely to hear from you! Also I wanted to share with you the lovely crafty stash that my husband and mum have bought for me:

My two girls Lucy and Penny wanted to be on the picture too - they look very funny bless them - but there they are!!!! Can't wait to get stuck into these goodies - looking forward to the girls going back to school so that I can have a good play!

Now onto todays card - the image I've used on the card is one from Karen doodles designs - it was very sad to hear that the blog is closing after one last challenge so I've made a card to say goodbyekarensdoodleschallengeblog and to enter into the final challenge. I used the sketch from totallygorjuss and coloured the image in red, white and blue for the promarkerchallenge passion for promarkers challenge. I did the card as WOW so that I could enter it into the craftysentiments designs challenge and I'd also like to enter it into the anything goes challenge at papertakeweekly and also the anything goes at fatpageswithattitude.

A lovely day!

Evening all! Well I've had a lovely day today - with my girls and mother-inlaw (Bez - she's fab!) at the Gulliver's World Attraction in Warrington. It really was fantastic - we got there to blue skies and enjoyed a good 5 hours before the heavens opened and sent us scurrying back to the car - and we will return as we just didn't manage to get everything done!

I also had some very exciting news yesterday - I'm not sure if I'm allowed to tell you - but I will anyway - I've been asked to join the DT for the Crafty Pad - I'm so excited! Thanks so much ladies - I'l do my best not to let you down!!!!

Oddly enough - the card I'd like to share with you this evening includes an image from the crafty pad that I won from their May release.

Isn't he just adorable? The colour scheme and stars were inspired by the challenge over at chocolatecoffeecards: photo inspiration and I followed a sketch from the challenge over atsketchandstashchallenge - my new stash that I've used is my sheena douglass daisy embossing folder - love it!!! I picked it up when I was at Dawn Bibby's shop the other weekend doing the workshop with Hels sheridan - and this is the first chance I've had to use it!!! I'd also like to enter this card into the cutiepiechallenge:  diecuts and punches, sweetstampinchallengeblog 'favourite' stamp andpapermakeupstamps Digi makeover challenge tic tac toe - which is bling, critter and embossing.

I think that's all for today - its my birthday tomorrow - and I'm very excited about the crafty stash my husband has got for me!!!! I say that he got for me - he gave me the money and I went on a spree!!!! What a lovely man he is!!!!

DT card for LEJ Designs Challenge Blog week 6: Button it

Good Morning All!

Well its time for another challenge over at  lejdesignschallengeblog- and this week the challenge is called 'Button it'. Its been great to see so many of you joining in these past few weeks - and what you have been creating has been amazing! Well done to all of you!

This week there will be two prize winners drawn at random to win two prizes. The first of these is three LEJ Designs Digis. There's an increasing and fabulous catalogue that you can browse here. The second prize is a bag of 20 mixed charms from the website I'm charmed that you can view here.

Now then - onto my card - I've used the digi image called Little Red - I wanted to give the impression of little red riding hood going through the forest at night - I've made a path for her out of buttons. I hope you like it!!!!

I've used double sided sticky stuff from woodware and a brass template and glitter to create the background. Red was coloured using promarkers. The paper of the woodland floor was fom my stash - as were the buttons.

A victorian Christmas

Morning all! Can I just say thanks to everyone for the comments you've left in the past few days - it really does mean a lot to me - it was funny being away last week because I really missed seeing all of your work and getting your lovely feedback!

Anyway, onto today - I usually try and reserve Sunday night to make a Christmas card - and last night was no exception - I did, however, use a tool I've had for three years or more and never used because I didn't know what it was. Luckily when I went to the workshop over with Hels I met Anne and she showed me an alternative way to fray paper edges and told me what the distressing tool looked like! Thanks Anne (Redanne) - now I know I've got one I'll try and use it more often!

Anyway - onto the card:

Welcome Jessica Rose

Good morning all! Well whilst I was away on holiday - one of the mum's from my daughter's school gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Jessica Rose - so that's given me the excuse to make today's card!

I've used my baby stamp from LOTV - how useful is this proving to be? I also used a stamp from sheena douglass when she was at creative expressions -  from her swirls set. I've stampe it using versa marked and embossed with wow powders sparkling snow. The fluorishes are die cut from sizzix and I've used promarkers to colour the image. The ribbon was from my stash - and the doily is the final one from the lovely Teresa ( thanks again Teresa!).

Jubilee tea party - and some pandas!

Good Morning all - sorry first of all to those people I haven't visited for lamost a week - I've been away on holiday and haven't managed to get organised enough to be able to blog whilst away!!!! I will try and catch up with comments as soon as I can!

Me and my lovely family went to Edinburgh - well nearer to Dunbar actually on the coast - whilst there we went to the zoo to visit the Pandas - thought you might like to see a piccie!

Isn't he just adorable? This is the male - sunshine - the female - sweetie - was in a separate enclosure and quite sleepy when we were there! Its well worth a visit - these Pandas are just adorable - oh and a small tip - if you are going book online and get a time slot to view the pandas - its busy!!

Now onto todays card:

I've created the card using an LOTV image and would like to enter it into the liliofthevalleythursdaychallenge at Lili's little fairies: Anything goes. The colour scheme has mostly influenced the other challenges I would like to enter this card into mishelfloschallenge red white and blue  challenge for June. Also the red, white and blue theme over at mymumscraftshopchallenges this week.  I've also used the sketch for the willowsketchiechallenge - but not the theme! I did try but my paper just wasn't working! Sorry guys.
