Well I got a bit of a shock on Thursday - I found out the Christmas card club were posting this week and I thought it was next - the theme this time is poinsettias - I only got chance to make two this time.
The first card is made using a stamp from Jayne Nestoyrenko. Its a beautiful stamp - thanks mum for the loan - the image was coloured with promarkers and cut with a spellbinders die. The embossing folder is from crafters companion.
This second one uses a stamp set from Chocolate baroque.
The background was made using the small stamp from the set - I stamped the image repeatedly using versamark and then added panpastels in red. Then I used the TH bubble layering stencil with Teadye DI.
The main stamp was stamped in sepia archival - I then painted the image with DI - barn door and forest moss. The background had already been coloured with antique linen DI - then I used tea dye around the edges.
The verse is quite interesting - I like this - let me know if you can't read it!
