more splats at Countryview Challenges
Hello there. Its my turn to post over at Countryview Challenges today and the theme is Splats, splashes and drips. I decided to use some Visible Image stamps and make a card for my daughter who is crazy about underwater life - she asked for an aquarium for her birthday this year - so I hope she'll like the card!
I started off with some black card and brayered onto it using some indigoblu metallic paint. Next I used diluted gesso to splatter all over the card in white then, once dry stamped the image of the seahorse both on the card and on some offcut card.
I fussycut the offcut card image and added it to the card with 3d glue. Next I brayered some more indigoblu paint in a different blu colour onto a surface and used this to stamp my swarmed fish. Finally I stamped and added the sentiment.
I really hope Penny likes this ...and itsnot too grown up for her!
Have a great day!

Christmas carols at Christmas card club.
Hello there! Its time for another challenge at Christmas card club - I can't believe how quickly these fortnights roll around. This time the theme is Christmas carols - I used two sets you see quite a lot with me - this time I have used white on a bright background for one set...and the other is kraft on a bright background.
Oh come all ye faithful!
We three kings!
I added pearls to the penguins crowns...the background was achieved using paints and a brayer.
The camels are stamps from HobbyArt and the penguins are from pink ink designs.
Now for my mums cards - she has done two this time - different colourways using stamps from claritystamp.
I can't wait to see what my team mates have done!
Have a great Sunday!

Stars on your card at Christmas card club
Hello there! Well another make from Christmas Card club today - this time the theme was stars on your card - and I managed to make three cards. I made the background using a TH stencil and adding versamark through it. I then applied crystal transparent embossing powder and then applied chipped sapphire distress oxide over the whole card and the stars resisted the ink. Finally I completed my scene using diecuts from TH.
I may add a greeting but I'm not so sure!!!
Now for my mum's cards... she's made some beauties this time.
The background is paper from the works cut with a sizzix die and the stars are spellbinders.
The easel card was a ready made one decorated with the papers from the works. There was also star dies from spellbinders used.
I am looking forward to seeing what my teamies all make!
Have a great Sunday!
