Cute and cosy or anything goes at Christmas card club.

Hello there! Its time for another challenge at Christmas card club and this month the theme is cute and cosy - my card design is kinda cute but not really cosy so I guess i have gone with anything goes as my theme...

I've made three cards using the die set from Tim Holtz - I love this tree and this moose - he's awesome!!!

Here's a close up - I cut and assembled the pieces before creating the scenes and then adding them all together.

My mu also went for the 'anything goes ' theme alternative...

Hope you have a great day!

We loved Kennedy Space Station ....

we loved all the Disney characters ....

we enjoyed the dining plan - especially the snacks!

we loved the water parks ...

....and the rides ....

and, of course,the disney magic!!!!

And now for a card I made for one of Penny's friends who lives next door!

I have never used this beautiful stamp set from visible image ...shame on me!!! Here's hoping its enjoyed!!!

More chocolate baroque quickies

Hello there! On the chocolate baroque blog today there are some amazing quick makes from the design team and these are the ones I did for the piece ...

For this one I stamped an image from the fluttering hearts set in versamark on a sheet of patterned paper and heat set in white embossing powder. I also added colour using pencil.

This one is a coaster that I stamped on using a stamp from the punky romance set ...I had already painted it using acrylic paint then simply coloured the butterflies in pencils.

I used a stencil to create the background in this one then stamped the image from punky romance..

Finally more punky romance stamps and pixie powders added to the card...

I hope these quick makes will have given you some inspiration!

Winter scene at Christmas card Club

Hello there! A scheduled post from me today - Christmas card club is on us again - the theme for this fortnight is A winters scene... I made four very quick and simple cards using a stamp set from Tim Holtz:

The light is not brilliant but I think you get the idea - I used distress ink and card and a stencil brush to create the landscape and then stamped the images.

My mum has made two cards for this challenge!
This one was uses memory box stencil and stamp...

and she made this one using free stamps from a magazine.

Hope you are well and happy!

More easter/ spring inspiration

Hello there! Its time for another post for Countryview Crafts - the theme this month is easter or spring - I decided to blend the two and use sizzix-thinlits-die-set-3pk---midnight-hare-by-sophie-guilar.

I created the background using distress inks and a hill outline cut out. I applied the colours using stencil brushes then I cut out the moon and stars in pearlescent card and the hare on black. Finally I added some black lines to the base of the hare.

I do hope this inspires you to join us.

Spring and/or Easter at Countryview Challenges

Hello there! Its the first of April - which means its time for a new challenge over at Countryview Challenges. The theme for this month is Spring and/or Easter. I decided to make a card which could cover both themes.

I used pink-ink---layered-stencils---hare to make my card. First I added the first layer of the hare in yellow distress then added the second layer in brown.. it was an easy process and the stencils worked nicely. I then added the background and then the flowers which are also stencilled. Finally I stamped the Spring word. This came from a stamp set by Lisa Horton. You can find the main post and link up here.

I do hope you can join us!
