Whether you are inspired by the glorious world around us with the changing seasons, or tempted to use elements of nature in your art work, this month we'd love to see your nature inspired entries. Anything goes as long as you include a natural element in your art which can be either either stamped or an actual item ! As always you need to include stamping or stenciling.
I was inspired by the season and this is the canvas I made....
Here's a step by step of the background creation -
I started with this canvas - I bought a set of 3 for £3.00 - ready to alter!!!
I covered this with gesso ...
stamped some Clarity mushrooms and fussy cut and coloured them.
Next I continued with the background using super thick slap it on and a stencil from TH.
Once dry I added pumpkin soup acrylic paint. Then I started diecutting! I used mostly TH dies and cut mostly leaves and also pine cones.
The verse is of course the start of Autumn by John Keats - now I had this as stamp but in true me style I couldn't find it. So I printed it off the computer!
I hope you like it! I did add a real pine cone too!!!
Hope you can join us! Come see the amazing makes of my teamies here.
