So today I have a trio of cards to show you for the latest Christmas Card Club topic which is Poinsettias. My stamps are a combination of Card-io and Chocolate Baroque.
Just one design this time - three makes! I enjoyed this one!
I used distress evergreen bough to do the background and overstamped with Card-io stamps using cranberry, bottle and expresso adirondack inks. The verse/story and sentiment were stamped with versafine - the poinsettia was stamped with versafine then painted with adirondack cranberry and bottle.
Just wanted to show you the gecko I painted whilst at centre parks too:
Have a great day!!!!
Hugs
Rachel xx

ReplyDeleteGood morning Rachel,
ReplyDeleteLove your cards they are brilliant.
However I really, really, LOVE your Gecko, he is so sweet.
When we lived in Turkey we has lots of them in the house. They were good for keeping the Mosquitoes at bay.
Have a wonderful weekend

Rachel, a trio of lovelies, and I'm really liking the way you've done the backgrounds and inserted the verse in the circle. A stunning design, and it's just so pretty with the poinsettia tucked in at the bottom of the verse. TFS & Hugs (also liked the gecko...much better as a craft item, though, than a real one!).
ReplyDeleteSuper cards Rachel glad you liked the challenge. I like your gecko too he's really colourful. Zx
ReplyDeleteAwesome! I never thought of using my little stamps with my bigger Chocolate Baroque poinsettia set. Sounds like the belly dancing lesson was fun. Your gecko is awesome and I love the colours you've used on him Karen xx
