All things spooky at Countryview Challenges

Hello lovelies! How are you this morning? I hope you are fine and well. October 1st? I think every month I am amazed that we have rolled on to the 1st again. But here we are! Like a rollercoaster I think! Talking of scary things - our theme at countryviewchallenges this month is All things Spooky - chosen by the super talented Corrie. I hope you'll be able to join us. For my first piece I have chosen to use a new stamp which I adore. I have also used a few dies and stencils that I will list!

I started with a blank card and used 4 different distress inks to create the background - they were milled lavendar, wilted violet, dusty concorde and seedless preserves. I blended them together then added more of the same using stencils - Tim holtz-layering-stencil---autumn, and a web stencil from dutch doobadoo.

Next I stamped the main image which is by stampendous.

I did some diecutting using sizzix-thinlits-die-set-10pk---handwritten-halloween-by-tim-holtz and a tattered lace web.

I backed the front with black so the bats looked black and also used some of the cut out bats on various parts of the card.

I hope you will be able to join us - here.

Big hugs

Rachel x
