Evie's card

Evening all - well to say the sale was rubbish is an understatement - at least I managed to get half a scarf knitted though so I guess there's my silver lining!!!! You can't win them all! At least my Christmas craft evening in the village last night went well and we made a staggering (lol) £60 for the PTA!!!! Every little helps!!!

Onto today - a card I made for my niece Evie's 8th birthday:

It was yesterday so I'm safe to show it now - its coloured with promarkers and the die is a spellbinders die. I've also used Claritystamp number and letters.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:

ilovepromarkers: Anything goes
Crafts and mecraftsandmechallenges: Anything goes

Morning Lovelies! I hope you wrapped up warm last night - I didn't make my class again - there was so much rain I just worried about flooding - so me and the girls did some Zumba infront of the telly! Not quite the same but it made me feel a little better! I'm supposed to be running this morning - I'll be having soggy feet again me thinks!!!!

two things to show you today - firstly a tag that will be going on Shaun's Christmas stocking - hope he likes it ....

I've used weathered wood Distress stain and tumbled glass distress ink on the background and stamped with adirondack denim blue. the snowflake is crafty emblies and the image is a digi from Crafty Sentiments designs.  The roses were from a candy I won from the lovely Nat at NG Cards - thanks hun xx

Mermaid and school play

Good morning lovelies - well I hope you are well - I am and feel very proud of my two little girls - it was their Christmas play yesterday - Lucy was the inn keepers wife and Penny was an angel. They both behaved beautifully and remembered all their lines - in fact the whole school performed brilliantly - the singing was so good. Here's a few pictures;

In the bottom one they were all singing and pointing to the jigsaw that was the theme of the production - fabulous xxx

Anyway - enough of the proud mum moment - onto todays card - it includes an image from the Scrapbook stamp society called La Mer  and its by the artist Mitzi Sato-Wiuff - you can get it here.

The image has been coloured with promarkers and I've used liquid pearls around the neck and in the hair. The flowers and beads were from a prize from the allsorts blog supplied by the pretty little ribbons shop - thanks guys - they're beautiful.I've also used some glitter/microbeads in there from ranger.

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges

Hi there lovelies - still cold isn't it? I hope you're well wrapped up! We certainly were yesterday when we visited the Christmas markets in Manchester - and blimey - what prices they charged!!!! I saw some beautiful gingerbread houses for around £30 - then saw identical things in Aldi at £5.95!!! Good old Aldi!!!

Anyway - onto today's card - another non- Christmassy one I'm afraid - there might be something Christmassy coming tomorrow! Today's card is one I've made for a friend's husband's 60th birthday - he's quite portly and into his golf so I thought this was the perfect image - its fromDigistamp Boutique and I think is called Alf- Golf - I think!!!!
